Blurb:

A young man awakens from a long hibernation sleep on-board an eerie and crew-less space shuttle with no memory of who he is or how he ended up on board the ‘lost in space’ vessel.

When a young woman awakens from hibernation shortly after him and curiously has no previous memories about her past either, the man is forced to solve the mystery of the shuttle, who they both really are and what became of the other crew members who haunt him frequently with ghostly and chilling visions.

The man must then come to terms with his own lonely fate, his possible limited existence and a dangerous physical urge towards his fellow amnesiac female companion.

My thoughts:

This book was…different. I don’t normally read horror, and for some reason it didn’t dawn on me that the author, who is a horror writer, would write, you know, a horror book.

I’m so brilliant sometimes.

Anyway. That being said, this isn’t a bad book. There were some moments when I would sit back and go, “What the hell did I just read?!” There are twists and turns and things that make you go “What?

” There is a very unreliable narrator, which made the story very interesting for me because this is, after all, a horror story.

Overall, the tone of this story is very grim, stark, and lonely.

This isn’t a horror in the sense that there are things that go bump in the night. This is very psychological, which I enjoy more.
